A walk-in interview for filling up the post of Young Professional I (YP I) will be held as per the schedule given below, Interested candidate(s) having requisite qualification may appear the interview along with application endorsing the biodata with the self-attested copies of educational certificates, residence certificates, passport photographs, and other relevant testimonials including research experiences at the time of interview .

Essential qualification:M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Agronomy/ Soil Science (Micro-biology )

• Venue:Directorate Niri) of Research (Agri), AAU, Jorhat

General terms and condition:

• Age limit: 35 years (5-year relaxation for ST/SC and 3 years for OBC candidate Jorhat
• The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
• The post is initially offered for one year. which may be extended for 2 years subjected to availability of fund.
• The person employed will have no right to claim employment or engagement in AAU at the end of the project.
• Candidate in service or in the study must submit a study dropped certificate / no objection certificate from the competent authority to appear in the interview.

The nature of duty under the project includes on-farm activity across AAU stations apart from intensive laboratory analysis and data interpretation.
