Responsibilities:

• Junior Weed Scientists assist in planning and conducting research experiments to study weed species, their biology, and the impact of different weed control methods.
• They assist in collecting data, analyzing results, and contributing to research publications.
• They collaborate with senior scientists to evaluate the efficacy of herbicides and develop sustainable weed control practices.
• They conduct field trials to evaluate the effectiveness of weed control treatments, assess herbicide tolerance in crops, and investigate herbicide resistance in weed populations.
• They monitor and document weed populations and their response to different management techniques.
