Agriculture Jobs: The Agriculture Purchase Executive will be responsible for procuring agricultural products, seeds, fertilizers, and other essential supplies for farming operations. The role involves liaising with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products. This individual will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining the quality standards of products.

Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement of agricultural products, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment.

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials.

Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Track orders, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely delivery of products to meet the needs of agricultural operations.

Coordinate with internal teams to determine purchasing needs based on production schedules.

Review and analyze vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement data.

Resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or payment discrepancies with vendors.

Stay updated on market trends and new product offerings in the agricultural sector.

Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Good understanding of the agriculture industry, including products and suppliers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve issues with suppliers and deliveries.

Qualification:

A degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the agriculture industry.

Knowledge of procurement software and supply chain management systems is a plus.
