PUNJAB AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITYDEPARTMENT OF SOIL SCIENCE, LUDHIANA- Applications on prescribed form are invited containing name, address, age, educational qualifications, experience etc. along with attested copies of certificates for the engagement of one position of Senior Research Fellow @ Rs.37000/-+ 16%HRA per month fixed for M.Sc. on contractual basis for a period of six months provided in the scheme “Amelioration and Carbon sequestration potential in salt-stressed environments, ICAR-167(PC-2746)”.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1. B.Sc./B.Sc. (Agriculture) with minimum OCPA of 6.00/10.00 basis or 60% marks.
2. M.Sc. in Soil Science with minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks.
3. Candidates having M.Sc. Degree must have qualified NET.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidate who has previous experience of working in salt-affected environments conditions and analysing and soil samples in the laboratory.

The last date for the receipt of applications in the office duly completed in all respect is 10-12-2024. The incomplete applications or unsupported by requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear for interview on 13-12-2024 at 11.30 AM. in the office room of Head of the Department. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
