Applications are invited on the prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs. 200/- in shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of certificates for two posts of Young Professional-I (YP-1) @ Rs. 30,000/- per month fixed provided in the scheme entitled, “All India Coordinated Research Project on Integrated Farming System ICAR-28 (PC-2036)”. The services of two Young Professional-I (One PAU, Ludhiana and one at KVK, Patiala) for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
Essential Qualifications:-
- B.Sc. with a minimum OCPA 6:00/10.00 basis or 60 % marks
- M.Sc. in Agronomy/Agricultural Economics with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65 % marks.
Note: The candidate who does not possess Master’s Degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. Degree in the discipline at Master’s level shall be eligible for the post.
This engagement is purely temporary and initially awarded for a period of six months which may be extended for a further period of six months at a time or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.
The last date for the receipt of applications duly complete in all respects in this office is 18.11.2024. The incomplete applications unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidates should appear before the selection committee for interview on 21.11.2024 at 11.00 a.m. in the office of the undersigned. No separate letter for interview will be issued. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The Young Professional-I (YP-1) resigning the engagement shall have to give one month notice or one month salary in lieu of one month notice. However, this will not hold good in respect of other assignments in the PAU.
