Responsibilities:

• Formulation of polices, plan and programme relating to Crop Insurance and Risk mitigation of farmers, agricultural credit and cooperative development, admisistration of Multi States Cooperative Societies Act (MSCS)
• Planning & Monitoring for improving the quantitative & Quantitative flow of credit to agriculture, Innovation, Development & implemention/ Operationalisation of famrer-friendly crop insurance programmer to address diverse needs of farmers for all agricultural & allied risk
• Processing of proposals recieved from State Governments, Cooperative, Organization, Financial institutions and field study visits concerned with the above items of work
• Development and Monitoring of functioning of Apex Cooperative Institutions/federations

Qualification: Master Degree in Agriculture or Agricultural Economics or Economics or Commerce or Statistics from a recognized university

Desirable: Diploma in operation from a recognized institution

Age Limit: Shall be not exceeding 56 years
